Umesh Soni resides in Sanjay Nagar, Laljipada, Kandivali west. His family consists of four members. His mother is a homemaker, father is a salesman and his younger brother works as a helper in a jewellery shop.
After completing his SSC in 2020, to provide for his family, Umesh has been working a variety of odd jobs in the unorganised sector. Umesh learned about Bright Future through one of his friends. He decided to enroll here to improvise his soft skills and to gain computer knowledge. During his previous work experiences, he realised the importance of having the above mentioned skills in a professional set-up.
When Umesh enrolled into Bright Future, he had secured a job in Dahanukar Wadi Metro station as a Supervisor. It has been six months since he is working there. According to Umesh, the exposure tours, role plays and activity based learning made it easier for him to understand the realities and organised working of the formal and professional sectors. He intends to continue working with Mumbai metro as it enables him to support his family financially and become financially independent. In the future, Umesh hopes to start his own business aA hardworking and motivated person from Kurla, who inspires others with their dedication and drive.nd he plans to apply these skills and knowledge he acquired from Bright Future to attain this goal.
