 MD & CEO of National Highways Authority of India’s Infrastructure Investment  Trust (NHAI InvIT)

Suresh Goyal has around 28 years of experience in financial services industry, across project finance,  investment banking and asset management. Over the last 15 years, he has been in asset management  of infrastructure sectors including Roads, Power, Renewables, Telecom Towers and Airports. Prior to  his current role, he held leadership role in Macquarie Infrastructure & Real Assets based at Singapore  covering South-East Asia and India regions. He has led some transformational investments, including  acquisition of first brownfield road by a financial sponsor in India, which led to opening up of the sector  for institutional investors and creation of professional platforms. He was also instrumental in winning  the first Toll Operate Transfer (TOT) road project in India. He has been member of several boards and  has extensive experience of working with boards across various strategies, including growth, Dispute  Resolution and Health & Safety etc. 

Suresh is currently MD & CEO of National Highways Authority of India’s Infrastructure Investment  Trust (NHAI InvIT), which has been set up to monetize operational highway projects under  Government of India’s National Monetization Pipeline. NHAI InvIT has successfully raised funds from  marquee international and domestic institutional investors and lenders in November 2021, with an  Enterprise Value of above USD 1 billion.  

Suresh is an Electrical Engineering graduate from Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and  Science, Indore. He also holds Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of  Management, Lucknow.

Ms. Preeti Chaudhry

Preeti Chaudhry was a Promoter and Director of many businesses for more than 15 years involved in export of leather goods. In 2010, she started working extensively with many NGOs in Mumbai. For a few years, she  was also involved in running a school providing English medium education to more than 400 children from weaker sections of the society. She is now an active member of Cerebral Palsy of India an NGO working with children with special needs and serves on their board. Preeti has also been engaged with Bright Future for the last eight years and has been extensively working with us to chart their growth journey. She enjoys interacting with innovative NGOs in the areas of women and children. She has earned her Graduation in Business Management from EIILM, Kolkata.

Mr. Ashish Bijawargi

Ashish is a development sector professional contributing to the sector for last ten years in various capacities. His primary work centres around rural communities in domains of health, education, livelihood and other areas of needs for the rural and tribal community. He also focuses on conceptualising and designing of socially innovative and sustainable programmes for rural communities. He is associated with multiple Non-profits (NPOs) in Maharashtra in the regions of Mumbai, Palghar and Thane and Raigad. He is associated with many NGOs, corporate organizations in an advisory capacity. He started his work in the social space with conceptualizing and spearheading ‘Early Learners’ Development programme’ (ELDP). ELDP aims at building capacities of Anganwadi workers in Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) block in tribal district of Palghar to empower them to impart informal Early Child Education (ECE) to early learners.

Before joining the development sector, he worked and specialised in internal audits of banks and Corporate organizations  and later as a freelance accounting and financial consultant. He holds a master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS university of Mumbai and a degree in commerce from University of Mumbai. He holds a diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling.

Alka is the Founder of Roads Ahead Consulting (RAC), a boutique innovation & leadership firm based in Mumbai. Mr. Keyur Majmudar

Keyur Majumdar is the Director at Bay Capital Investment Managers. He has close to 25 years of experience covering investment banking, equity advisory and fund management.

The Founder and Managing Trustee of Bay Diligence, a trust which advises and manages philanthropic capital and seeks to apply a “private equity investment” type approach to high impact social projects and social enterprises.

A Board Member of Rang de; a unique non-profit peer to peer platform that provides affordable micro credit to women entrepreneurs in rural India. He also serves in an Advisory capacity in several of the portfolio organisations that are supported by Bay Diligence and provides insights in this capacity in areas such as Strategy, Governance and Organisation building, among others.

He is also an Advisor to “The Social Collective”, a collaborative ecosystem which aims to amplify the impact of social enterprises and non-profits through strategic communications.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University and a Masters in Management from Boston University.
